For those wondering about what the munford vikings are exactly i can explain. We are a semi-professional football team that will be playing in the Alliance Football League. The AFL as we call it consists of over 30 teams that span from North Carolina to Nebraska and all points in between. It is a very organized league using many of the same rules and practices as the NFL. We hope to recruit at least 45 players to make this work and the team will be based out Munford, TN. We hope to put a team together that will be able to compete for the Alliance Football League(AFL) American Alliance Conference(AAC) Southwest division title and hopefully go on to the playoffs to make a run for the Alliance Bowl. The league has a 12 game season and a 4 round playoff system as well as an all star game which is played after the Alliance Bowl champs are crowned. The football is recreational but the competition is fierce! Everyone starts the season with the goal of playing at the end, but the sportsmanship and pride that you encounter along the way is just as rewarding as the games you win. Being a part of the AFL family is a great honor and a memory that players will take with them the rest of their lives. If you are a former high school player who hasn’t been able to play college ball or a former college player that still has the fire to play organized full contact football come out and join the team you won’t be sorry you did!

The Munford Vikings are landing in a city near you soon and will be calling Munford, Tennessee our homeland.
